Review: Poni Cosmetics The White Knight Mascara

Hi Beauties, Do you know what tubular mascara is? I learnt about tubular mascara many moons ago by the beauty guru herself Zoe Foster Blake. Basically tubular mascara looks like normal mascara and applies like normal mascara, however the particles are super small and tube or wrap around each lash.

But why use a tubular mascara? No smudging, holds a curl really well and so ridiculously easy to remove.

Anyway I’ve only recently tried my first tubular mascara which was the Clinique Fit Me Mascara and I fell in love! But at $54 a tube I just couldn’t justify repurchasing. Enter Poni Cosmetics’ best selling The White Knight Mascara*.

Review Poni Cosmetics The White Knight Mascara

  • Retails for $30AUD, which I know can sound pricey but considering drugstore mascaras are typically $26 and high end mascaras are $50+ I think $30 is pretty dang reasonable.
  • Dual brush feature – volumise and lengthen. Personally I find the lengthen step doesn’t really do much, there just doesn’t seem to be enough product on it. But because its a smaller wand its great at separating the lashes.
  • I really like the volumise brush. I don’t think it adds heaps of volume but applies a decent amount of mascara and leaves my lashes looking great. I recommend applying it slowly as it can be difficult to control the big brush.
  • I find the mascara holds a curl really well.
  • Definitely no flaking or smudging.
  • And one of the best features, ridiculously easy to remove. I jump straight into the shower and use warm water to loosen the tubes and wash/ wipe away. When I get out of the shower no panda eyes- yay!

Below I’m wearing just the mascara on my eyes and I love! I love how open it makes my eyes look.

Another added feature is the mascara includes growth ingredients, however its too soon to tell. And while I shouldn’t sound too excited, I think within a month my lashes do look a hint longer. I do however think because I’m not tugging at my lashes as much it does help maintain their healthy condition.
