Hello beauties, I had the lovely pleasure of being invited to Maybelline’s new launches party a couple of months back. As you would have seen there’s been some amazing launches from Maybelline. As a lipstick junkie, the new Maybelline Loaded Bold Lipsticks got me super excited! Now I know a lot of bloggers say Rimmel do the best drugstore lippes, but personally I think Maybelline are better- only just.
What’s different about these Loaded Bold Lipsticks are that they are really pigmented. You only need a swipe or two to get a bold lip as per below. In terms of the shade range, you’ll only see bold colours. A little disappointing, but if you’re after a nude lip then check out Maybelline’s Nude Lipstick range.
These lipsticks retail for $17.95 and have a demi-matte finish. As you can see there is a sheen to all the shades, but they do last really well on the lips throughout the day. I’ve been really impressed with the quality of these lipsticks, they’re very opaque and not too drying on the lips.
